Sanford Roberts, Editor of “The American Dachshund in the later years of the magazine commented on Mr. Shultis after meeting him for the first time during  a DC of California show. He asked him a couple of questions and then was dumfounded by Mr Shultis’ response.

Look at Mr. Shultis’ dogs and compare them to Mr Roberts dog and then , I believe, you can see what Mr Shultis meant and where Mr Robert’s dog failed in what the Gera owners bred and concentrated on. Look at their fronts and then look at the Robdachs dog.
